ADAM NEATE
'THE HUG' 2017
dynamic motion lenticular mounted on aluminium, ready to hang
50 x 67 x 0.5cm (2.5cm inc. aluminium hanging frame)
A 2D DIMENSIONAL® 'consumerart' multiple
limited to an edition of 18
A collaboration with ELMS LESTERS® 2017
'The Hug' is a composition that ADAM NEATE has revisited frequently, both as original paintings in a variety of mediums, and as limited editions in myriad forms.
This latest rendition comprises a vibrant, complex motion lenticular, which subtly changes colour as you move around it. The juxtaposition of graphic and photographic elements, and semi transparent layering result in an ambiguous 'shape-shifting' composition.
The ‘starting colour way’ which you see as you look at the artwork straight on has a blue / yellow tonal background, then as you move around the work it gradually changes to the vibrant pink / green tonal background.
The process is called a ‘dynamic motion’ lenticular, meaning it has many stages of change, giving a very gradual metamorphosis, with lots of interesting tonal changes in transition.
All items from our online store can be securely and competitively, shipped internationally.
